We are followers of a broken world

Life around us, it  was created hundreds of years ago…
Yes, hundreds of years ago, only a few things were made thousands of years ago…

It is kind of silly, we all think our lives started very very long ago, yet, it hasn’t.
The reason why, is that life tends to change every century.
But what do I mean with that life around us was created only hundreds of years ago?

To understand you will first of all need to know your history,
which you could learn fast enough if you know where the differences are.
Most of them are actually at one single universal subject, politics.
It is kind of crazy, but politics are our lives nowadays, you can easily see that by how we have thousands of laws restricting us from what we can do, even though most laws are nonsense.
Just think about that downloading music, movies, video games, software and such are all illegal at most of the world…

Some will defend that by saying it should cost money, and I actually agree, I would, and do, pay for quality, like I pay for every song I own at my MP3 player…
However, the need to pay has also caused problems, mainly caused by the facts that the differences are quite ridiculous. For example, a single song currently costs about 1 euro, 1 USD, 0,80 GBP… or about 20 RUB…
The Euro, United States Dollar and British Pound prices are quite similar, the Russian rubble one is not, and that is actually the one which is comparable to the prices at most places at Asia.
Those who want to understand, 20 RUB is about 30 eurocents, 32 penny or 26 pence…
In basics music costs 3 times as little at Russia, yet is actually able to be bought for the same price at the foreign countries, as long as you do it at the internet…
So, are the differences actually needed, let alone effective?

Apart of the differences in prices at music, there is a concern when you look at the prices to start with.
When it comes to the prices, most are actually seen as low, forgetting that it is low only in certain examples…
The basics are, that our own countries are full of differences, and when it comes to specifically rich and poor, the problems start, as eventually, everyone would like to buy music.
Still, while these prices are low for those who are rich to moderate, these are actually extremely high in cases of those who are poor, or families with 3 or more children.
The ban on downloading causes fines for those people, while they are the ones who actually are just truly unable to pay these prices…
Let alone when we look at the prices of movies, as I am a movie-fan myself, but at my family, getting more than 1 movie a month is expensive, yet, I do watch a movie a week…
Do I even need to go on?
The prices of things that are universally loved, even though they are luxury items, causes people to do things, things that are restricted because of laws, but is it right to punish someone for an act anyone would do?
As be honest, if you had not enough money, would you not be tempted to rather download music, movies and such, and rather spend your money on food?

The restrictions of our lives by laws has caused only problems and those problems are now intertwined with our lives…
Yet, while politicians act like nothing is going on, these problems show everywhere:
Poverty, conflicts, discrimination, and a lot more examples are caused by politics.
Yet, while they are caused by politics, we also seek our solutions at politics…
The important thing to ask yourself would be:
“Why would the ones who created it for their own benefits, do anything to solve it?”

Yet, as I said, our lives were created only hundreds of years ago.
As when we actually look at history, as the way things are today is not the ways it always been.
Yes, there always were problems at the past too, but most of them were for actual goals, not just because things needed to be restricted…
It may seem weird, but when we only look a few hundreds years ago, when colonies were important, things were about something else. In basics, they were about survival, as harsh as the consequences of these time might have been… Still, we couldn’t say we are disconnected of these times, as the consequences of these times still remain, just think about slavery…

In the end the problem we experience today is that we don’t look hundreds of years ago, instead we often don’t even look at history at all.
I might be hated for saying this, but all of the current problems do indeed come back to religion, however, not the way people think.

I’m not without a religion myself, I am Jewish, which in my case has shown me that even my own religion is wrong.
Those who know a bit about religion will know that Christianity is a split-off of Judaism, which happened thousands of years ago by now. Yet, over those thousands of years, both Christians and Jews have been unable to notice something important, as some would like to say “a sign”. It all resolves on 1 thing, differences.
When it comes to Judaism and Christianity, our most notable difference is at the believe of Jesus Christ, which is why Christianity has become a split-off thousands of years ago.
Still, most Christians were still Jews at that time, changed because of Jesus Christ…
One man who changed believes, which made many change their ways…

Thousands of years ago people changed…
Now Today, thousands of years later, we are unable to change…
The thing is, most religions have been created thousands of years ago, yet they showed the ability of acceptance…
It doesn’t matter if we talk about Judaism, Christianity or the Islam, all of those who are of those 3 religions have shown acceptance thousands of years ago, there are many examples of it.
Yet, we are unable to do so?
Can we actually call ourselves followers of our religions when we can’t do the same as our ancestors did before us?

And there lies the last word that is important… followers…
What we have become are followers,
Followers of politics,
Followers of a system that is broken…
Yet. we blindly follow this broken system we call politics…

If we compare the world today in animals,
The politicians are lions, and the regular people are sheep…
And as George R.R. Martin once wrote:
“A lion doesn’t concern itself with the opinion of sheep.”

In the end we are followers of a broken world.
