I am Ukrainian, as I correctly use my nationality, and not my residentship, which would be to Russia, and neither citizenship, which would include Russia, Poland and actually some more countries, which currently many other people use to reflect who they are…
In my case, yes, it is sometimes hard to state this, and this has nothing to with Ukraine, and everything to do with Russia, but also supporters of Russia all around the world.

The simple fact is, yes, there are neo-nazis at Ukraine, just like there are at Russia, I could try to deny this, but you know something, neo-nazis are there all over the world, even at the country of yourself, whoever is reading this right now, so I would be ignorant to state any country doesn’t have this, as it is everywhere…
Still, many are unable to realise this, hence there having been, and still are, quite some campaign against Ukraine focusing at just that, and any Ukrainian supporting Ukraine will by those who have these campaign marked as neo-nazi…
.. Including myself, I have been said to be the same quite some time at Twitter during 2015, and to be honest, I was, and am, disgusted by these campaigns, as a simple fact of neo-nazis is their antisemitism, and for those who are not aware, I am Jewish and it would be kind of weird if I was an antisemite…
Apart of this, it might be good to note that Russia was and is the main antisemite at this discussion, and I only need 1 location at Russia to prove it, which is the “Jewish Autonomous Oblast” which was created for reasons that could only be classified as antisemitic, as at the moment of creation, during the Soviet Union, was very much related to the Soviet Union being atheistic throughout, even though in practice, Russian-Orthodoxy and Islam were actually allowed for quite some time…
Now, some supporters of Russia want to classify Lenin as Jew, which he was not, as the line of Judaism at his family officially stopped with his grandfather or his mother(depending on the form of Judaism), however he was against racial antisemitism, and for those who are not aware of the English vocabulary, that includes also that he was against discrimination against Arabs as easiest example, however the Soviet Union’s policies were hostile towards Judaism and Jewish people from day 1…

Now, in my case it is quite obvious why I support Ukraine and not Russia, which has nothing to do with anything else then the first thing I said I am, which is that I am Ukrainian.
It is simple, I was not born at the Soviet Union, not at Russia, I was born at Ukraine, and even though my biological father is Russian, that doesn’t require me to support Russia in any way, as that is not who I am, apart of that, my biological mother is Polish, and when we look at the acts of the Soviet Union, both Poland and Ukraine were quite often the target of bad, just like the Vainakh, which for example includes the Chechens, who will most certainly remember Aardakh, like Ukrainians and Moldovans remember Holodomor, and Poles remember.. a massive list of atrocities…
The simple fact is, that even if I was born during the time the Soviet Union still existed, I wouldn’t ever identify myself as Russian, caused not by some form of nationalism or anything alike, but by the fact that Russia has never accepted Ukrainians themselves…

Now, as Ukrainian, I am indeed worried of Trump wanting to create an alliance with Russia, which has nothing to do with Ukraine, but all to do with Russia, who has shown that they don’t respect anyone, not even their allies, as this list shows, and that we can expect Russia to turn things so that the USA will be affected in bad ways over the time this alliance could possibly exist at the future…
The simple thing is, yes, I am Anti-Russia, I couldn’t deny it, which has to do with the facts surrounding this country, however, this doesn’t equal in me having anything against Russians, as Russians are not the voice of their country, their government is, just like almost everywhere at the world this is the case, as our ways of democracy should be counted as a form of dictatorship, not democracy…

Will I ever return to Ukraine, the answer is yes,
Will I ever go to the region of my ancestors, which is Crimea, that is a probable yes.
However, if I will return to the region of Donbas, were I lived most of my almost 16 years of life, is extremely doubtful,
as it would require Russia to do the right thing, which is to stop their aggressive stances, and as history has shown, Russia has never truly supported anyone, not even their allies, as even today their alliance with Iran is tainted, because of the Armenia-Azerbaijan discussion, and also their alliance with Syria is tainted, as this is once again only in support of Russian interests, and not Syrian, with everyone knowing the attacks of Russia at innocents of Syria during the Syrian Civil War, and the government is not everything of a country…

Which brings me to the most important answer, which is that I couldn’t ever support the one who is breaking apart my country.
Euromaidan might be the moment for most Ukrainians to say it was done with Russia, but to me personally it was later, which was at the start of the separatism, as if Russia would have ever cared for Ukraine in the first place, they would have stood against the separatism, and wanting to keep Ukraine united, which they have never done, and instead supported the separatist movement, equalling in the similar fact as we have seen at Holodomor, which is that Russia doesn’t care for any Ukrainian, not even any Ukrainian, or Russian, at Donbas, and just care for their own interest, which they also have shown by invading Crimea, as Crimea is a source of money to Russia…
It’s that which makes me stand against Russia, the fact they’re one of the most egotistical and nationalistic countries of the whole world, which not only their acts at Ukraine shows, but their acts around the world, even when we look at history…
