A tale of two sisters Katarzyna Dovganyuk-Krym, October 23, 2023 Two souls intertwined in a dance of fate,Born of the same womb, yet not a duplicate.Sisters, a bond that time cannot erase,A connection that distance cannot chase. In childhood’s innocent laughter and tears,In shared secrets and unwarranted fears. In the stolen clothes and borrowed time,In the whispered dreams and nursery rhyme. Through the stormy fights and the sunny truce,Through the shared joys and the solitary blues.A sister’s love, both fierce and kind,An unbreakable bond, a tie that binds. One sister’s strength is the other’s support,One’s victory is the other’s sport. In each other’s hearts, they find their home,No matter how far they may roam. In the mirror of a sister, we see our best,And also the flaws we often detest. But in this reflection, pure and true,We find love, understanding, a bond that grew. A sister’s love is a precious gift,A beacon that can the heaviest lift.A tale of two sisters, under the same sun,Two bodies, two souls, but in spirit, one. poetry Poetry Thursday: Boys with Beats November 2, 2023 Sneakers squeaking on studio floors,Caps turned backwards, hip hop scores.Bodies popping, locking, waves,Street dance skills these boys crave. Spinning on their heads with ease,Waving arms like a cool breeze.Freezing poses strike with pride,Energy and rhythm can’t hide. B-boy crews huddle close as kin,Bonded by the dance within. At battles they cheer… Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)Click to share on X (Opens in new window)MoreClick to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window) Read More
