Smiling: the key to happiness Katarzyna Dovganyuk-Krym, May 8, 2023 Smiling and being happy,A joyful state of mind,A warm and glowing feeling,In which all troubles unwind. A smile can light up a room,And brighten up a face,It can melt away a frown,And fill an empty space. Being happy is contagious,It spreads from soul to soul,And lifts up those around us,Making them feel whole. So let us all keep smiling,And spread happiness each day,For it is the simplest gesture,That can go a long, long way. Arts & Culture A symphony of strings October 22, 2023 In the quiet of the evening’s embrace,A solitary figure takes her place. In her hands, a violin rests,Ready for the night’s musical quests. With a bow, she begins her dance,Strings vibrating in a trance.Notes rise and fall in a cadence,A melody born of silence. Each stroke, a whisper of the soul,A… Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)Click to share on X (Opens in new window)MoreClick to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window) Read More
Love Whispers of Love June 14, 2023 In a world of whispers, love’s sweet refrain,I stand as a vessel, my heart no longer the same.Heartbeats flutter, a symphony untamed,As love’s gentle touch leaves me forever changed. A dance of emotions, wild and new,Like a sunflower seeking morning’s dew,Love blooms within, a blossoming fire,Igniting my soul, igniting desire…. poetry Embracing down’s grace August 2, 2023 In a world where differences bloom and grow,A person shines with a special glow,With eyes that slant and sparkle bright,Down syndrome’s touch, a guiding light. Their features might be slightly small,A flat bridge nose, a joyful call,A tongue that’s thicker, speech that’s slow,Yet words of love, they freely sow. Their… Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)Click to share on X (Opens in new window)MoreClick to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window) Read More
