The dance of discipline

On the mat, a world unfolds,
A tale of strength and grace, it holds.
The gymnast stands, poised and bright,
In her eyes, a determined light.

With a leap, she takes flight,
Defying gravity, with all her might.
Twisting, turning in the air,
A dance of discipline, beyond compare.

Every muscle, every bone,
Every sinew has a tone.
A symphony of movement, precise and neat,
A rhythm of control, hard to beat.

The beam, the bars, the vault, the floor,
Each an arena for her to explore.
With every fall, she learns to rise,
In every stumble, a victory lies.

She bends, but does not break,
For her dream, she’s awake.
She soars, she spins, she flips, she flies,
In the arena, a phoenix rises.

Her body speaks a language pure,
Of dedication that can endure.
The applause rings loud, the lights are bright,
But it’s her spirit that shines in the night.

Gymnastics – a dance of the bold and brave,
A testament to the power of those who crave.
To push the limits, to reach the sky,
In every leap, in every try.
