The fusion of three into one Emeryk Nowak, November 3, 2023November 3, 2023 Over the past few days, SnowCalmth has transformed into a unified blog. There used to be three separate blogs: SnowCalmth, Sleepless Whispers, and Calmth Music. However, now there is only SnowCalmth. What does this mean for the future? Calmth Music was a music blog focused on subtitling music videos and translating non-English music videos into English. It was run by a small group of people. This will remain unchanged, except now it will be published on this website. Moving forward, the content is intended to be published on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Sleepless Whispers was a poetry blog by Katarzyna Dovganyuk-Krym. She previously attempted to publish on a daily basis, but this will be changing. The decision to reduce the frequency is to alleviate the pressure on her and allow her time to focus on her mental health, which unfortunately, she didn’t always prioritize in the past. This change is one of the reasons for the fusion of blogs, in addition to some considerations related to Automattic. She will now be publishing on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. SnowCalmth was, and still is, a multi-topic blog by Vadim Dovganyuk-Krym, the father of the brothers Vladislav and Aleksander who started Calmth Music, as well as the father of Katarzyna who wrote Sleepless Whispers. This blog has been relatively inactive for a while, with occasional updates. The topics have been primarily related to politics and psychology. There never were specific days, nor will there be. Regarding the publishing of new content related to the last part, as well as any personal content that any of the authors might find fitting, it will be done whenever they wish. The previously mentioned days of the week are just to establish a regular posting schedule, as this is always important for a blog. It’s best to publish something at least daily, so readers know what to expect. Regarding Saturdays, our activity depends on the circumstances. We welcome guest posts on this day, so please feel free to reach out through our contact page or our social media platforms. Currently, we have a presence on X (Twitter) and Facebook. Katarzyna can also be found on Bluesky, unlike our blog. Most of our authors are active on X (Twitter), Facebook, and the Discord chat platform. Please note that we are not active on the Fediverse, such as through Mastodon. It’s important for me to mention that all poetry posts will have open comments, music posts will have comments disabled, and personal posts are at the discretion of the writer. This decision is made to prevent spam. Many people comment solely for the purpose of link exchange, which can be detrimental to blogs in terms of SEO. It’s anticipated that especially music content may not receive constructive comments. I hope this provides enough information for you to understand what to expect in the future. If you still have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. We are more than happy to read and respond to any message you might send our way. For now, enjoy your day and your weekend. Look forward to a new poetry post by Katarzyna this afternoon. Much love to all of you for reading our blog.
