The sweet bloom of youth Katarzyna Dovganyuk-Krym, September 10, 2023 A week ago on Friday (1st September), my little brother Aleksander came home from his second date with a girl. She had asked him out for both dates, and during the second one, she asked him to be her boyfriend. His response, well… My little brother is an introvert, which is why she had to take all the steps. I have hidden her details to protect her privacy. The situation inspired me to write the poem below. Poem: There’s a garden where the young heart dwells,Filled with fragrant floral spells.A place of blossoming and becoming,Under azure skies humming. The tender buds of affection unfold,Revealing petals of rose and gold. Two souls awakened to love’s first blush,Under the sweet bloom of youth’s hush. A chrysalis opens to wings taking flight,Into the mysteries of light. The thrill of new life and purpose found,In that enchanted ground. A magical time of dreaming big,Before life’s obligations digTheir furrows in the fertile soil,Where fanciful seeds now uncoil. The future awaits, a story still untold,But for now, the present is a gift of gold.To be unwrapped with patience and care,Blossoms beyond compare. Appreciate each moment given,Under the sweet bloom of youth’s heaven.A secret garden, a special place,My little bud, now blossom apace! Unfurl your petals and spread your wings,The song of first love now sings.Drink deep the nectar of new beginnings,Under the sweet bloom of youth’s awakenings. Personal Growth Embers of Resilience July 1, 2023 In the depths of darkness, a flicker ignites,Embers of resilience, burning bright,Within the crucible of life’s fierce fire,I find strength that lifts me higher. Through trials and tribulations I have walked,In the face of adversity, I have talked,A phoenix rising from ashes of despair,I stand tall, no longer unaware. poetry Painted Silence July 22, 2023November 1, 2023 Within the canvas of quiet air,A symphony of hushes, a wordless prayer. In the realm where colors speak,Painted silence, emotions leak. Strokes of feelings, vivid and bold,A masterpiece of stories untold. In shades of blue, the tears reside,And vibrant reds, where passions hide. Golden hues of laughter gleam,In every corner of this… Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)Click to share on X (Opens in new window)MoreClick to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window) Read More
