The Unfathomable Mystery

The mystery of my soul, concealed from sight,
An enigma shrouded in shadows of the night.
A world unseen, a realm unknown,
A labyrinth of thoughts, mine alone.

Others peer in with curious eyes,
Seeking to fathom, to empathize.
But what they see is just a façade,
A polished veneer, a well-practiced charade.

They cannot grasp the depths within,
The sorrows, joys, the unseen din.
They cannot fathom the battles fought,
The scars hidden, the lessons taught.

They may assume, they may presume,
But my truth eludes, like a ghostly plume.
For how can they know what lies beneath,
The unspoken words, the sighs, the grief?

They see the smiles, the laughter bright,
But not the tears that stain the night.
They hear the words, the stories told,
But not the secrets, carefully withheld.

They cannot taste the bittersweet,
The tang of tears, the triumph’s treat.
They cannot feel the heart’s deep beat,
The emotions raw, the passions fleet.

So, I stand alone, a mystery true,
Unfathomable, to me and to you.
For how can one truly comprehend,
What another’s journey may portend?

So, I walk this path, solitary and unknown,
With a soul that’s mine and mine alone.
Though others may try to understand,
The essence of me, slips through their hand.

For only I can truly know,
The depths of my heart, the highs and low.
And though I may share, and try to explain,
Others can’t fully know my joy or pain.

So, let them wonder, let them guess,
For my soul’s secrets, I’ll confess,
Are mine to keep, mine to treasure,
A mystery eternal, without measure.
