If you follow our blog through the WordPress Reader, you will now notice that you can no longer like and comment through the Reader. This is a bug, as can be read on several other blogs as well, such as Grace of the Sun. It seems to affect all those who are subscribed to specific Jetpack and WordPress.com plans. Automattic is already looking into a fix.
For now, we advise visiting our blog directly for likes and comments. We hope this issue is resolved soon.
WordPress seems to be its own worst enemy – constantly fixing things that aren’t broken.

Yeah, you’re completely right. The problem they’re facing behind the scenes is that they have too many employees, each responsible for their own part. Because of this, when they release any update, it comes from many departments and independent developers, without ensuring that each individual update works alongside another. This breaks things. These are beginner mistakes that shouldn’t exist for a multi-million-dollar company. Their success seems to be their downfall.
